Since 2019, Henning Vahlenkamp is research assistant in the working group on language learning and teaching (Prof. Dr. Claudia Harsch), based at University Bremen.
Henning holds a Master of Arts in Sociology and Social Research (University Bremen), and is specialized in qualitative research methods in the field of social sciences.
His research interests include sociocultural perspectives on language learning, sociolinguistics, and language in public space. He is currently working on his PhD (University Bremen) on interaction in peer tutored autonomous language learning.
After having acquired teaching experience in the field of sociolinguistics, Henning is now delivering research-based courses in Linguistic Landscape Studies at University Bremen.
